No access by third parties.

Many competing solutions rely on permanent device IDs that, in theory, could also be accessed by unauthorized third parties simply by trying them out — often requiring nothing more than a password or an accidentally accepted connection request by an end user. Not with DESKERIO.

Systems enabled for 24/7 Remote Access are not exposed via a public device ID.

Access is strictly limited to employees of the organization that installed the DESKERIO Agent as a system service.

External DESKERIO accounts can neither send connection requests nor gain access.

This means a distracted employee cannot accidentally accept a connection request that does not originate from your organization. Only authorized users within your DESKERIO account have access.

Shared systems — clearly separated access

If a server or workstation belongs to a shared customer, multiple DESKERIO organizations can each install their own agent.

Each organization manages its access completely independently.

As a result, systems are assigned only to the organizations explicitly configured — not, as with other products, potentially visible to all users of the platform.

This ensures security and control even in multi-vendor environments.

Firewall? Not an issue.

Even in Agent Mode, no open ports are required. The agent uses outbound HTTPS connections only (plus optional alternative ports). DESKERIO works seamlessly across firewalls without any configuration effort.

Remote Desktop or Terminal — your choice

With 24/7 Remote Access, you decide how you want to access systems:

Remote Desktop: Control the desktop as usual using mouse and keyboard — just like in ad-hoc support sessions.

Terminal Sessions: Launch a shell of your choice on the remote system — Cmd.exe, PowerShell, (WSL) Bash, and more — and work in the background. Ideal for administrative tasks, scripting, or quick maintenance.
